That drum solo is like 1 and 1/2 years old, I wish I had a more stuctured and musical one to throw up on the site. We are recording a demo of about 3/4 of the material that will go on our new album...maybe I will send some more stuff this way.
What tune is the riff playing in the background of the site from? Upcoming album or the one for sale on the site?
I really like those couple sections. guitar melody is cool.
It's brand new stuff that will for sure be on the next album. We are recording these demo's early to let the songs grow before we hit the studio...we will also be playing a bunch of these songs live.
Good job, Omni! Your time is really solid, and I like how you don't show a tendency to speed up during fills or slow down and have to catch up. Very tight!
I agree w/ ever1 so far...enjoyed it... very tight, which is the way that playing is going nowadays... NICE PHRASINGS in there... if no clik [& i haven't "clocked it" [img]wink.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]eek.gif[/img] ] , then it sounds to me that u have a good bearing on the time...good stuff, keep it up... eventually u WILL have "the funds" [img]wink.gif[/img] ....

just got around to listening to it....besides all the drumming aspects and criticisms mentioned
I love the song!(i cant seem to get it out of my head), its a very simple prog metal song in structure(the 3 chord proggresion gets kinda boring especially in the second section with the arpeggiated motif and what not)im guessing there's an ispiration from Tool/King Crimson(in the heavyness perse and the little jazzy soloing seems very Opeth inspired!).One thing that surprised me is that our drumming contrasts everything the drummers in those respective bands(genre) do, killer control on the snare-the ghosting and triplets......and ofcourse killer bass playing(the harmonics ala Jaco and supporting the song NICE!)
